ART AFRICA MIAMI

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!  Dear All, I have signed on as a sponsor and working on the production team for the 5th Annual Art Africa Miami Arts Fair held December 2-6, 2015 during Art Basel Miami.  If you're not aware of Art Basel Miami, well let me fill you in.  Art Basel Miami is THE largest art fair in the western hemisphere drawing over 75,000 international visitors to Miami the first weekend of December for the past 12 years.  This is THE OLYMPICS of the art world.

So, where does Art Africa Miami fit in, you may ask. Art Basel Miami has spawned a multitude of satellite art fairs around town that seek to capture the main fair's audience thus turning Miami into a 5-day, traffic jammed, art fair hopping party. :) Up until five years ago, there did NOT exist a fair that represented artists from the global African diaspora in a significant way.  Neil Hall, visionary architect and art collector, decided he needed to change that and founded the Art Africa Miami Fair in 2011.  Now in it's 5th year, the fair has held it's commitment to stay in our historic black neighborhood - Overtown (Miami's Harlem).  Once the cultural hub of all things black and classy in Miami, Neil works hard every year to give the town this cultural experience.
