ONE ROOM CHALLENGE | Week 4
Alexa, play: Gloria Gaynor, "I Will Survive"
Did you think I'd lay down and die?
I WILL SURVIVE
Yes, I made it to Week #4! Have you been following along and read my updates for Week #1 , Week #2 and Week #3?
I'm traveling this week and only had THREE days to hustle & flow the heck outta my team to make some serious strides and catch up to my project schedule.
Check out my progress photos below to see the mighty progress...YESSS!
- Washer / Dryer {finally} - CHECK!
- Cabinets - CHECK!
- Cabinet Pulls - CHECK!
- Butcherblock Countertop - CHECK!
- Exposed Shelf - CHECK!
- Laundry Rod - CHECK!
I'm excited but it's tempered. I still have LOADS {of work not laundry} to be done including the backsplash which is a KEY element in this design. The goal for the vibe is an understated chic vibe. I want an industrial but warm feel and it'll be just that. The anticipation to the finish line is EVERYTHING at this point. Stay with me.
One Love, Taj
p.s. Almost forgot...what do you think of this super-cute sign I found in Target for the laundry? I mean, I fell out laughing because we currently have a small basket that holds these lost socks LOL. Makes no sense, you put in a complete pair in the washer and you only get back one?!?!
p.s.s. Don't forget to check out what the other participants are up to for Week #4. Visit the One Room Challenge blog to witness loads of design goodness coming to life. Much thanks to Better Homes & Gardens for being the media sponsor on this great event.
