DESIGN-IN-A-DAY
A focused, 1-day session to work on your remodel or furnishings & decor project.
STEP 1 - STYLE DISCOVERY:
We start the day by taking the necessary time to discuss in detail and work through your inspiration photos and talk about your likes, dislikes, and your specific functionality needs for your room design.
STEP 2 - SPACE PLANNING & DESIGN DOCUMENTS:
If we are working virtually, you'll be guided on how to measure the space. We'll end the video conference and I'll begin working out the best possible furniture layout, as well as develop simple custom designed built-ins and feature walls, if approved as part of your vision.
STEP 3 - SHOPPING:
Once the layout and list of finishes/fixtures has been determined, I start my online research to source all the furnishings and accessories to complete your room - within your stipulated project budget.
STEP 4 - DELIVERY TIME:
In a 24-hour next day turnaround, you will receive a completed PDF design package as a detailed guide for easy execution.

CLIENTS RECEIVE:
- SHOPPING LIST with hyperlinks for all furniture, decor, fixtures, and finishes for your space
- DESIGN BOARD to present a mood and help you visualize how the pieces/finishes will look together in your room
- FURNITURE PLAN of the space which identifies exactly where each item goes and makes the process simple
- CUSTOM DESIGN DETAILS, when applicable, if we have both decided on including a custom built-in unit, feature wall, and/or more
- LOCAL CONTACTS (if you are South Florida based) for our go-to contractors to help you execute the work like painters, countertop fabricators, tile installation, window treatment, etc.
DESIGN-IN-A-DAY Investment:
$2,500 | Video Conference
+ One week of email support included to ask clarifying questions about the spaces we tackled during our session
+ Furniture and decor are sourced using online retailers
+ In-person pricing available for clients within a 2-hour radius of Fort Lauderdale, FL (additional travel $175/hr)
+ Don't feel like implementing the plan yourself? No problem. For local furnishings/decor clients, I offer implementation of your Design-in-Day Session design plan
+ Project management includes placing orders, receiving items at our warehouse, staging and styling items once everything has arrived, and coordinating a handy-person to be on site for installation
+ Management cost is 20% of your overall furniture/decor budget with a minimum PM fee of $3,500
