Every year I say the same thing to my husband - where did the year go? Well, it's here, I'm ready and looking forward to all the festiveness and beauty the season has to offer. Tis the season and I'm sharing my first holiday wishlist (it's grows by the day). So, am I nudging you to shop for me? LOL, no not at all. Hi Everyone, this is a MAJOR modern kitchen makeover accomplished without ripping out the entire kitchen and minimal dust. Our clients installed their all white  minimalist kitchen only 3 years ago and weren’t happy with the results. Assignment: “Taj, please fix it without dumping our investment in the gutter!!!”

This week I thought we should take our eyes off the floor and look up a little at some timeless lighting fixtures to add some Wow onto our ceilings.

The ceiling may not be as functional as the floors we walk on or the walls we hang shelves, frames, mirrors & more on. However, almost always when someone looks up at the ceiling and actually notices it, it either has a unique ceiling finish or an outstanding lighting fixture. 

The below spaces were designed for a newlywed couple that recently purchased a newly constructed home of which I have been working on designing both the first and second floors. The images below show a compilation of spaces throughout the ground floor. The scope of work was to create intimate, comfortable and functional spaces that fit their specific lifestyle.
